USA

traffic sound

roaring like the sea

through my window

before the voices

grew louder in my mind

a silhouette

stretched out on the curtain

under the moon

old memories ripple

the placid room

the scatter

of cherry blossoms

in the spring

gone with the breeze

my fair-weather friends

content

to watch you shine

from afar

this one-sided love

of the stargazer

an old friend

surfaces online

her smile

which thawed ice

an ocean away

sitting ashore

with nothing to say

you slip away

like sand

through my fingers
